United we can stand; divided we will surely fall. The county is aggressively trying to make life for ranges as hard as possible. The new rules now prohibit the use of steel targets or target frames, for no good reason at all. This makes modern competition as well as law enforcement training and qualification prohibitively expensive or impossible. The next rules will be even worse.

Note; Steel shooting has been re-legalized, by the stroke of a pen. The permitting philosophy of the County seems as variable as the weather, which should not be interpreted in a positive way. Today, operating permits are available. Tomorrow?
